The glass atrium of Vancouver Public Library. The Roman Colosseum-like design of the library building is indeed very impressive. (The architect however denied any connection between the Colosseum and his design.) The book collection here is also impressive. There are foreign language books (such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc), unlike the libraries in Singapore and Hong Kong, which only had books in the national languages and not other languages.
