Fan Tan Alley in Victoria's Chinatown. Being one of the narrowest alleys in Canada, it was a good spot to buy opium in the 1800s. Today, the alley houses several gift shops and memorabilia shops. (Curiously, although the alley is a part of Chinatown, most shopowners of the shops along the alley are actually caucasians...)
