Bratislava - Me and the Bratislava castle. Formerly a Roman post from the 1st to 5th centuries, the castle has been rebuilt several times since the 9th century. Destroyed by fire in 1811 and by bombs during World War II, what is left today is largely communist-era restoration. (I put the camera on a sloping parapet, hence the photo is a bit slanted.)
